To succeed as a team, all members should be aligned focusing on the same target and sharing the same values and team spirit. This creates a supportive environment where individuals can communicate freely without fear of judgement or political games, enabling the team to achieve maximum impact with minimal effort.

While specific values may vary depending on the team’s nature and work purpose, there are core values that every team should embrace for the benefit of team as listed below. By committing to these values, The teams will create a safe, supportive environment that fosters open communication and enables everyone to work towards the shared goal.

  1. Honesty and integrity are essential for building trust and credibility and promoting ethical behaviour within and outside the team. Honesty is telling the truth and being transparent (while being kind and considerate), while integrity is the adherence to moral and ethical principles and values. Compromising these values leads to a lack of trust, conflicts, frequent misunderstandings, and bad-faith politics. To promote honesty and integrity, We should provide a blame-free culture, a safe space for feedback, transparent communication, and accountability to ethical standards.
